Two months to find one teacherひとりの先生に出会うまで、二か月

In each city it took me close to two months to find a teacher who fit my style, my level and my body. Then a trip would take me somewhere new, and the search began again. And what I needed kept changing with every stage of life.

どの街でも、スタイルもレベルも体も合う先生に出会うまで、二か月近くかかりました。やっと見つけても、出張や旅で別の街へ行けば、また一からやり直し。しかも必要なものは、人生の時期ごとに変わっていきました。

Good guidance exists everywhere. Finding the right match, again and again, is the hard part.良い導き手はどこにでもいる。難しいのは、合う人に何度でも出会い直すこと。

A month by the Gangesガンジスのほとりでの一か月

I spent a month in Rishikesh training in Hatha yoga and became a certified instructor. It taught me self-awareness and patience with my own body, in the happiest, most carefree weeks of my life.

リシケシで一か月ハタヨガを学び、インストラクターの資格を取りました。そこで学んだのは、自分への気づきと、自分の体への忍耐。人生でいちばん幸せで、心が軽やかだった数週間です。

Learning balance the hard way遠回りして学んだ、バランス

Pilates for my core, yoga for flexibility and humility, running to find my pace. I pushed each one separately until I injured myself from overuse. Now I combine them, in a mix that fits who I am right now.

体幹のためのピラティス、柔軟さと謙虚さのためのヨガ、自分のペースを知るためのランニング。一つひとつを追い込みすぎて、使いすぎでけがをしました。今はそれらを組み合わせ、いまの自分に合うかたちで続けています。
